FOUR RACES IN FIVE DAYS FOR THE B.S.T. SERIES

Broomfield, Colorado (June 1, 2010) -- The Larry Shaw Blood Sweat and Tears (BST) Series will be busy starting Saturday June 5. The series will have 4 races in 5 night and kick off the Kansas and Nebraska series. “Four Days of racing in 5 days, at 4 different tracks in 3 states……..this is what BST is all about,” Series promoter Joe Bellm stressed.
The first night is Saturday June 5 when the BST invades Butch Speicher’s I-76 Speedway for BST Colorado Race number 4. BST Points Leader Eddie Belec and his teammates Dominic Ursetta and John Burrow Jr look to take home the trophy. Zach Hilzer will be trying to back up his second place run in Holyoke, and the Brack brothers will also be fighting for the win. New I-76 Speedway point leader John Hansen and his wife Brandy will also be doing battle trying to take the trophy back to Brush with them. Jeremy Frenier will be trying to keep the money in Fort Morgan, but he will have to do battle with 30 of the best Modifieds from Colorado. Sunday, June 6 the BST Kansas tour kicks off with a show at Thomas County Speedway in Colby KS. Another stout 30-40 car field is expected for this spectacular show with drivers from Colorado and Kansas invading the speedway. The Brack brothers look to be tough contenders along with 2009 track champion from Colby, Darren DeLoach who is off 2 wins last weekend in Goodland. Its an all out fight in Colby as anyone can win on the racy speedway and the winner will get $750 to win and $100 to start. The races start at 7pm on Sunday. Monday the series is off traveling as BST rolls into Lincoln County Speedway on Tuesday June 8. This will kick off the BST Nebraska tour and the race will pay $900 to win and $100 to start. For more information on Lincoln County Speedway call 308-532-1204.
The last race of the swing will be Wednesday June 9 at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood NE for round 2 of the Nebraska series as the drivers participate in the “Charlie Clark Memorial”. The Kosiski owned track will be sure to provide some fast racing action for the drivers following the BST tour along with the locals trying to steal the thunder. I-80 point leader Jeff Jones from Iowa, 2009 National IMCA Champion Dylan Smith, and “The Jet” Johnny Saathoff will be some of the local runners trying to steal the money. Racers will earn IMCA National, ButlerBuilt Central Region, State, Local, and BST State Points at each race. In 2010, BST has a Kansas Series, Colorado Series and a Nebraska series, each awarding a champion.
