KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- The rains came down around Lakeside all day long. All day long the rains never hit at Lakeside Speedway. Many fans and competitors were scared off by the rain Wednesday afternoon. With several racers in the area for the Lucas Oil SuperClean Diamond Nationals, it could have been a large car count. For the fans that made the trip, they got to see one great race.

BUCKNER, Mo. -- Clint Bowyer and Shannon Babb headline the list of "outsiders" looking to nab a win with the O'Reilly MLRA presented by Lucas Oil tonight at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. This highly anticipated event is a homecoming of sorts for former Lakeside Speedway Track Champion Bowyer. Having won the most recent Cup race at Richmond and sitting 4th in the Sprint Cup driver's standings, momentum is certainly on his side.

Pure Stockers Face $1,000 Challenge This Friday Night |

OKTAHA, Okla. -- Pure Stocks will have center stage for the 4th Annual Pure Stock Challenge, $1,000 to win and $100 to start the main event sponsored by Unite Truck and Auto and Hooters of Tulsa. There is just a $40 entry fee per car and the B-Feature pays $30.
Mothers will also get in FREE this Friday night when bringing a child with them to the races!

WAKEENEY, Kan. -- Cory Struckhoff of Kensington and Marquette’s B.J. Dauer both won their second features of the season in their respective divisions at Wakeeney (KS) Speedway Sunday evening, May 4.
Travis ‘The Terminator’ Sherfick jumped to the lead at the drop of the green of the 20-lap IMCA Stock Car feature but gave way to Josh Hudson on lap 7.

The Show-Me Racin Series LateModels were scheduled to be racing Sat night,but that has changed and will not be on the schedule for May 10th at I-44.
